Jo-Ann M. Rodriguez was born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico. Orocovis is a town in the central mountains of the island of Puerto Rico. She went to college in Ponce, Puerto Rico, where she completed a bachelor's in Computer Science.

She started to pursue writing a few years ago as a hobby. Her first book The Leaf was published in March of 2009. Recently she started to brew up some ideas and started her next novel, which will be written in spanish. She currently lives in Virginia.

Writing has become an interesting area of my life. I never expected to enjoy it so much. Most of my ideas come from dreams or are inspired by nature. I love reading, sewing, crafts and programming (What a mix...).
